Difficult Conversations Web App

The Difficult Conversations project, led by Professor Debbie Watson, has worked with children and adults to co-create training tools to help adoptive parents, foster carers and social workers deal honestly and directly with difficult questions from the children in their care. They can help children build secure and positive identities and approach conversations around life story confidently, with curiosity and kindness.

The web application to support this project will be used by those responsible for delivering training as a hub of resources. These users have accounts that enable to access a series of in-page training resources. Before use, it is required for each new user to sign up and to sign a user license agreement.

Further information can be found on the Difficult Conversations website.

What next?

If you are ready to obtain the training tools, please proceed by clicking the 'order now' button followed by 'check out now' on the page you are re-directed to. You will then see a dialogue box asking you to 'sign in to your account'. Please note that you must create a new user profile separate from the profile you created on the Difficult Conversations website. Please do not try to enter those credentials. In order to register, select 'register' at the bottom of the dialogue box, which follows the text 'new user?'. You will then be able to create a new user profile and be led through the licensing workflow.
