EDUCATE
A lesson plan to help young people find out about the HPV vaccine
The EDUCATE lesson aims to support the delivery of the schools-based HPV vaccination programme by providing young people with information and answering questions they may have about the HPV vaccine. It also hopes to prepare them to be vaccinated at school and help them make the decision to be vaccinated or not.
This resource has been designed for delivery by any professional who may wish to discuss the school-based HPV vaccination programme with young people (e.g. school nurses, immunisation teams, youth workers)
If you are a teacher who would like to deliver the lesson in school, you may prefer to use an alternative version of the resource developed specifically for teachers in collaboration with the PSHE Association.
