Training in Supporting Autistic Students
Technology No. 3620
This course is designed to help student-facing staff understand and support autistic students' mental health. It was created in collaboration with autistic students so that it reflects their own experiences
We will cover: autistic traits, how they affect students at university, the impact on mental health, and practical strategies for supporting these students.
It's separated into 5 modules, each of which will contain presentation slides. At the end of every presentation, there will be a link to an interview with autistic students discussing their experience of each topic.
